讲座内容：The purpose of this talk to present the application process to US University, from selecting university, preparing the standardized tests, to preparing the application package. Most if not all engineering graduate students are supported with research assistantships obtained by their thesis advisor. To be successful as a graduate student in research, it is good to understanding how these supports are made available. To have a good working relationship with thesis advisor can be a significant benefit from the educational experience to finding that “dream” job after graduation. This talk will also touch on the support system within US institutions that will make the graduate experience more enjoyable.
