  Service science is a new discipline arising from the rapid development of services across the industrial world. The aim of service science includes addressing issues such as to what extent organizations can be restructured, how to manage service innovation, and others.
  This talk will discuss some topics related to Services including Systems / Management, Marketing, and Operations /Productivity and Innovation /Methods /Developing Supply Chains to Support Service Operations. Also, some issues that have important implications for service science research will be presented and discussed.

  Dr Lorna Uden is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology at Staffordshire University in the UK. She has published over 120 papers in conferences, journals, chapters of books and workshops. Her research interests include Learning Technology, Web Engineering and Technology, Human Computer Interaction, Groupware, Activity Theory, E-business, Knowledge management, E-government, Semantic web, Web services , Service Science and Problem-Based Learning (PBL). She co-authored the book, ‘Technology and Problem - Based Learning’, published by IGI publishers.
